Announcement 2019-070: Update - Missouri Sever Storms, Tornadoes, and Flooding

FEMA Declared Disaster in Missouri - Additional Impacted Counties

On July 10 and July 29, 2019, Announcements 2019-059 and 2019-065 addressed the Major Disaster Declaration pertaining to the recent severe storms and flooding in Missouri, with an incident end date of July 5, 2019.

 

As of today, six (6) additional counties have been identified and designated for Individual Assistance from FEMA. This brings the total to twenty-six (26) counties in total.

If the effective date of the appraisal or appraisal alternative was on or prior to the July 5, 2019 Incident date, an inspection is required in accordance with the FEMA Declared Disaster Policies and Procedures and product profiles prior to closing or funding of the loan.

 

A condition requiring a property inspection will be added to identified loans and the expectation is that a disaster inspection will be ordered once an end date to the disaster has been determined.
